Back in the arena, the tension is slowly becoming palpable. The first fight begins in just about an hour, but the spectators still have a chance to meet the combatants personally. Like sports stars today, many gladiators were prominent figures and well-known throughout the city. You won’t want to miss this chance to have a little chat with them.
