Start your visit at the Roman city quarter in Petronell-Carnuntum (2404 Petronell-Carnuntum, Hauptstraße 1A). There you'll find the big parking space of Carnuntum. Leave your car there and move via shuttle between the sites of the festival. Your ticket entitles you to freely commute between the venues as often as you wish on that day.

By train
From Vienna
Carnuntum is well connected with Vienna via train. From Vienna City Center "Wien Mitte - Landstraße" take the Line S7 in direction Wolfsthal. Departure on working days and weekends at every hour (8.19h, 9.19h, 10.19h etc.). Get off at the station Petronell-Carnuntum, the ride takes 60 minutes. After a short walk of 15 minutes (follow the signs) you reach the Roman City Carnuntum. For returning to Vienna you can catch a train every hour as well (9.18h, 10.18h, 11.18h etc.) The Museum Carnuntinum is located in the next village. Going by train you have to get off at the station Bad Deutsch-Altenburg, from there it's a walk of 20 minutes to reach the Museum. For more details look here www.oebb.at

Take the regional MHD bus No. 901 from „Nový most“ or „Petržalka/Einsteinova“ to Hainburg a.d. Donau. Change to train S7 in direction of Vienna.
