Turning back to the Roman city quarter, the festival stage is being officially opened. After all, what would an ancient Rome festival be without a theater production? Following the successes of recent years, the participants decided to stage a new production again that will have its world premiere in Carnuntum: “The Children of Carnuntum”. As the title indicates, the work explores the life of the youngest inhabitants of the Roman Empire in general and the Roman province of Pannonia in particular. It will be an absolute highlight of the festival.
